Lemon Soda

"What says summer better than lemonade and ice cream?"

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
• 1 teaspoon vanilla ice cream
• carbonated water, chilled
• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
• 1 cherries

directions

1. In a tall 10-ounce soda glass, combine the lemonade concentrate and the 1 teaspoon ice cream.
2. Add a little carbonated water to mix the lemonade and vanilla ice cream, stirring the drink with a long-handled spoon.
3. Top the drink with the 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
4. Fill the glass with 1/2 to 3/4 cup carbonated water.
5. Top with the cherry.
6. Serve immediately with 2 straws and a spoon.

What a lovely tart and semi sweet soda. I ask you, what is better than lemons and ice cream in the summer, nothing that I can think of. This treat was perfect...very tasty and refreshing, quick and easy to make, with ingredients always found in the freezer. I loved it, thanks so much for sharing another winner, that I will make often.

Oh Wow, LOVED this!!! I made with pink lemonade concentrate and Club Soda (didn't know if that's carbonated water or not?) It was wonderful with the combo of tart and sweet. The pink made it a pretty presentation too. Thanks Annacia for another great recipe.

It was easy and tasty! I substituted frozen lemonade and the carbonated water for premixed lemonade and it still tasted great!
