Chicken with apples and celery; curry and walnuts optional. For sandwiches or serve on a bed of lettuce. Cooking time is chilling time. From a blending of chef "Bigbadbrenda" Recipe 298434 and chef "LARavenscroft" Recipe 438653.
- 8 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
- 1 apple, cubed
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon curry powder (optional)
- 1⁄4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Mix all ingredients, chill.
Yum! This was a nice chicken salad. I didn't use the nuts and added a lot more curry. I'm not sure - maybe my curry was older but I couldn't really taste it. Thanks for sharing. Made for What's on the Menu tag.
