- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 1⁄3 cups dates
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 -3 drops peppermint extract, to taste
- 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 pinch salt (optional)
- Place all ingredients in food processor and blend.
- Form into 3 bars or smaller snack-sized balls or squares.
