Kale and Basil Pesto

ingredients
- 1 cup kale, stemmed, fresh
- 1 cup basil leaves, fresh
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 2⁄3 cup walnuts (or other favorite nut)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice (to taste)
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
directions
- Coarsely chop kale, basil, garlic, nutritional yeast, and nuts in food processor.
- Drizzle in lemon juice and olive oil until desired consistency is reached.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
