"This recipe is directly from The Joy of Cooking. It is very simple to make. Every time I make it people tell me if I bottled it they would pay for it. Everyone loves it!"

• Yields: 1 quart

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups ketchup
• 1 cup red wine vinegar
• 1⁄4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
• 1 cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons dry mustard
• 4 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 2 minced garlic cloves
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 3 slices lemons

directions

1. Over medium heat stir all of the ingredients together.
