This is a recipe I've come up with combining 2 other recipes. I give you a variation to use with catsup or tomato paste.
- 6 ounces tomato paste or 3⁄4 cup catsup, with no high fructose corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 -2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 -6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, if not using catsup
- Mix all ingredients and heat.
- Use like you would any other BBQ sauce.
