Jalapeno-Lime Spritzer

• Ingredients: 5
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 3 cups club soda
• 1⁄4 cup fresh lime juice
• 1⁄4 cup agave nectar
• 1 lime, thinly sliced
• 1 jalapeno chile, thinly sliced (seeded, if desired)

directions

1. In a pitcher, combine the soda, lime juice, nectar, lime, and jalapeno.
2. Serve over ice.

What a great drink idea! I usually don't like very spicy things, but this sounded so unusual that we had to try it. DH and I both loved it! You can taste the heat, but it's not overwhelming. DH added a shot of tequila to his, and it was pretty awesome that way, too! This was so refreshing, and it's definitely on our list of drink favorites. (Sorry for the lousy picture...) Thanks for posting!

Even my Jalapeno hater thought this was an easy five star. I seed the Jalapeno which meant no heat just a nice warm under tone, with the lime and fizz giving a cool refreshing feel to this taste drink. We will be enjoying this often this summer, thanks for the post.
