ingredients
- 2 (14 ounce) cans garbanzo beans
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
directions
- Put garbanzo beans in pot.
- add baking soda.
- cook on med high heat until simmering.
- pour contents of pot into bowl.
- rinse with cold water to release hulls from beans. Discard hulls.
- Put garbanzo beans and other ingredients in food processor and blend for up to 2 minutes.
- If too thick, slowly add a little bit of water to thin.
- refrigerate or eat it now!
