My mom came up with this when I was little because I couldn't stand the taste of sweet icing on cakes. This is a very rich icing but not sweet.
- Blend all together.
- Store in fridge in sealed container until ready to ice cake.
I have (somewhere) a recipe very like this, using whipped topping instead of Dream Whip. Reduce the milk and use sugar-free pudding and you have a sugar-free frosting! Thanks!
Delicious! I too do not like very sweet icing and this was perfect. I used cheesecake pudding, sweetened with splenda. I just poured the milk while blending, probably used 1 cup total, until I got the desired consistancy. This was great on banana nut bread..Thanks for sharing, Leanne!
