ingredients
- 20 g dried honeysuckle fresh edible flowers
- 15 g dried chrysanthemum fresh edible flowers
- 10 g dried nutmeg mace
- 2 green tea, sachet
- 5 g licorice, slice
- 10 g dried orange peel
- 30 g lemongrass
- 6 pandan leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 200 g honey
- 2000 ml water
directions
- Pound chopped lemon grass and licorice in a stone pounder.
- Broil 2000 ml water in a medium pot.
- Add all dried ingredients except chrysanthemum flowers and green tea sachets into the broiling water.
- Cover the pot with lit and turn down the fire. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
- Put in chrysanthemum flowers.
- Again simmer for 5 minutes.
- Turn off fire. Drop in green tea sachets and steep for 1 minutes.
- Strain the tea with a muslin bag.
- Add honey and lemon juice when tea cool down a bit. .
- Let it stand for 5 minutes. Enjoy the tea!
