directions

  • you start out by cracking 3 eggs into a bowl. beat the eggs while adding in the flour(you are not making dough!). Croissants would work best with this recipe. take two and cut them in half on the sides. put the bread pieces into the bowl with the beaten eggs. move the bread around and make sure they get covered. leave them to soak for a minute or so.
  • next, add olive oil to your hot pan and once your olive oil is nice and hot add a crushed clove of garlic to the pan. once the garlic has infused the olive oil, remove it, making sure your heat wasnt too high.
  • you take your bowl of eggs and bread and slowly add it into the pan, adint the remaining batter to the top. After the bottom starts to cook flip it over and with a fork, poke all around the top of the cooked batter. take a teaspoon of butter and add it on top, rub the butter around and let it melt.
  • once its well cooked(remember low heat, you dont want the inside raw)flip it onto a plate, then add parmesan cheese to the top and wuallah! you have completed your first hide-and go-bread.
