The texture was lovely and the flavour was good, but it tasted too much of soda. Next time I will cut the baking soda, increase the cheese and herbs (I used 1 T of fresh sage) a little bit. Also only took 45 minutes to cook. We also brushed melted butter on top upon removing from oven.

Delicious beer bread! I used Italian seasoning instead of the sage. I drizzled a little low fat margarine over the top after taking out of the oven. Served with roasted chicken and asparagus. Thanks!

This was pretty tasty - I liked the combination of sage and cheese. I used more cheese than called for and stout for the beer. I did find it a bit salty though, and looking at other recipes, may decrease the the baking soda and salt the next time I make it. Thanks for sharing!
