this recipe came from a red star booklet. I have yet to try it but it sounds good. this is for a 1 1/2 lb loaf. prep time and cook time are approximate as machines differ.
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1⁄2 cup soy flour
- 1 tablespoon wheat germ
- 1⁄2 cup non-fat powdered milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1⁄4 teaspoons yeast (1 packet)
- place room temperature ingredients in pan in order listed.
- select basic setting and medium crust.
