Hearty Cheese 'n Toast

"A quick and easy TOH recipe that makes uses of leftover cooked meat. I listed ham as the meat ingredient, b/c that is what I have fixed it with, but turkey, chicken, or beef would be good, too."

  1. Made as written for ZWT6 cuz my DH is on vacation, is a huge breakfast hound & I had just cooked a ham prior to the start of the Great Britain part of the Tour. It all seemed fated to me & the outcome was greedily enjoyed. I halved the recipe & did use the opt caraway seeds. Thx for sharing your tasty recipe w/us.

  4. WONDERFUL !!! I sort of took mary lead as I had some pork tenderloin left over (3 slices). I also made another batch with the ham. A great meal. and will try again. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.

  5. I really loved this recipe. I used some leftover marinated turkey tenderloin and poured a LOT of the cheese sauce on top, then sprinkled it with the caraway seeds. If you like a lot of the sauce you might need to double it. Thanks for a keeper. Made for Holiday Tag.
