A simple and tasty way to make empanadas!

  • 20 empanada wrappers (thawed)
  • 1 (16 ounce) packagediced ham
  • 1 (16 ounce) packageshredded cheese (i use mozz.)
  • vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Seperate empanada wraps.
  2. Mix diced ham and cheese in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Fill empanada wrapers with small handful of filling.
  4. Fold empanada wrapers over into half circle and fold the ends closed.
  5. Heat about 1 inch of oil in electric skillet.
  6. Fry empanadas for 2 minutes on each side.
  7. Cool for about 5 min and serve!
