Perfect for you next barbecue!
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 1⁄4 cup chopped scallion, including green part
- 1⁄2 teaspoon minced garlic, add up to 1 tbsp if you are a garlic lover
- 1 lb loaf sourdough bread
- Combine the butter, scallions and garlic; mix well.
- Chill, covered, until set.
- Slice the bread in 1/2 inch slices and arrange on grill rack.
- Grill until bread is toasted.
- Spread with the onion butter and serve immediately.
