  1. Light the grill.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the sour cream, vanilla and brown sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. In a medium bowl, sprinkle the banana slices with the melted butter and cinnamon.
  4. Grill the bananas or panfry in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, turning, until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the bananas to individual plates.
  6. Spoon the sweetened cream on top.

This was so great. I did use plaintains and bananas. Plaintains held up a bit better, the bananas tasted great, but didn't hold together as well. Will definitely make again! Thanks Ev! Made for Culinary Quest 2014 International Agents of Quest.

wow oh wow this was good, simple but full of flavor. dont turn away from bananas ,they cook fast lol the brown sugar in sour cream, genius. made for cake pops on parade south american leg of tour

This is a favourite dessert with one of my friends', actually with 2 of 'em. I have made this using regaular whipped cream{whipped} instead of sour cream. This is yummy and a pleaser with big kids;)!
