A 5 a day recipe from the National Cancer Institue. I tried this at an open-house at the Springfield Oregon outreach office of the Confederated Tribes Of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians. It was unbelievably delicious and simple, the kids also loved it!
- 1 cup green apple
- 1 cup green grape
- 1⁄2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1⁄2 cup lemon yogurt
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
- Core and seed the apple, and cut into pieces.
- Mix together apple, grapes, marshmallows, yogurt, and almonds.
My family loves this salad. It is one of my 6 year old's favorite salads. I make it with vanilla yogurt instead of lemon, and I use a mix of green and red grapes, it is delicious.
My Grandma made this for Christmas this year and it was delicious! Also, I had this at the Tribal Office and loved it.
