This is one of my Grandma recipes. She received this recipe many years ago. These almost melt in your mouth, now I have the recipe and love to share it. Was a childhood favorite. She always gaurded this recipe!
- Rub all ingredients together in a bowl by hand until consistency of fine crumbs is reached.
- Squeeze a small amount together in the palm of your hand until the dough sticks together.
- Then shape into crescents and bake lightly at 295 degrees (use oven thermometer) for 40 minutes .
- When cool, cover cookies with powdered sugar and enjoy.
