I haven't made this recipe but, I do make one using saltines. So here are a few of the things I've learned ( trail & error) always do 1 to 1 portions ( 1 cup Brown Sugar to 1 cup butter) . My mom also likes when it's on top & bottom. So I double the amounts. Hope this helps. God bless you & your family. Happy Holidays

I had been searched for a recipe comparable to the one my friend's mom gave me years ago. When I made this I realized she must have used a lot more butter than this recipe calls for. The kind she made has a much runnier caramel that soaked through the graham crackers to the bottom; where as in this recipe the caramel just sat on top. It was still tasty, though. I will make this next time using more butter which will make it more fattening, but oh well.
