Beautiful, fresh green beans in a ginger sauce.
- 2 1⁄2 cups fresh green beans, stems removed
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon grated ginger
- Saute beans in oil and butter for 5 minutes.
- Add water, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Drain, toss with soy sauce and ginger.
Really yummy! I thickened the sauce with a tiny bit of cornstarch right before serving. Thanks, Inez!
