Ingredients: 18 ounces German chocolate cake mix (I use Duncan Hines brand); 1 1/4 cups water; 1/3 cup vegetable oil; 3 eggs; 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, squeezed dry; 1 cup seafoam icing (or more)

ingredients

18 ounces German chocolate cake mix (I use Duncan Hines brand)
1 ¹⁄₄ cups water
¹⁄₃ cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
Filling
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, squeezed dry
1 cup seafoam icing (or more)

directions

Make cake according to package directions.
Squeeze as much juice out of crushed pineapple as possible.
For the filling, mix crushed pineapple with 1 cup(or more) of my Seafoam Icing.

<p>I'm a retired elementary teacher. I taught for 33 years. The ladies I have taught with during those years were all excellant cooks. We celebrated birthdays each month with all kinds of baked goodies. One year, we sold a book of our favorite recipes as a fund raiser for our school. <br />My college girlfiends and I get together often now after 40 years of getting our college degrees,working,and retiring.
