What usually happens when you reheat pizza? Microwaves makes the crust into soft bread, and ovens take a long time and overcook the pizza. Here's a simple solution that works on the best thin crust pizza from NY, to the incredible deep dish of Chicago. All you need is a microwave and a toaster oven.

Just use a skillet on the stove over medium heat. The crust will retain it's crispness and the toppings will be heated through. Start crust side down and then flip. Not everyone owns a toaster oven...
Directions See How It's Made
- Place your leftover pizza slice on a plate and microwave for 30 seconds, and then additional 15 second increments until the cheese in the center of the slice is soft and gooey.
- Good chance the cheese towards the edges has dripped off the edge of the crust. Remove the plate with the pizza slice from the microwave, and then use a fork to pull that cheese up back onto the top; this will prevent it from dripping down and burning in the toaster oven.
- Place the pizza slice directly on the rack in the toaster oven. Toast for 2-3 minutes (this is the regular time for toast), and voila! Pizza like when it was freshly made!
