Farin (Brown Sugar) Cookies

"Hearty, delicious little nibbles. They look especially nice glazed with sugar/water icing."

• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 140 g brown sugar
• 140 g flour
• 2 eggs (whole)
• 100 g almonds (ground, or hazelnuts)
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 dash salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder

directions

1. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
2. Incorporate nuts.
3. Mix flour and baking powder.
4. Add cinnamon, dash of salt and flour/baking powder mixture slowly.
5. Mix.
6. Line baking tray with non stick paper and form cookies (about 1 teaspoons dough per cookie).
7. Bake at 200°C for about 15min.
8. Glaze as you like or enjoy plain!
