- ice cube
- 1 1⁄2 ounces gin
- 1⁄2 ounce creme de menthe
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- maraschino cherry
directions
- Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the gin, creme de menthe, lemon juice and bitters, then shake vigorously.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with maraschino cherry.

My mother, Sassafrasnanc is a member and after months of convincing me to join, I did! Growing up with this kinda mother really excites you about food. Some of my favorite memories as a child were watching my mother cook and oh! her delicious food! Holidays are now my favorite time of year because I get a real home-cooked meal I remember from my childhood. And now that I'm of-age I can enjoy my mother's delicious drinks as well! My family really does mean a lot to me and even though we don't always get along, we stick together.
This year I am a senior at Brevard College, with a bachelor in music for performance. I'm a singer! Next year I will probably be somewhere far away at Graduate School. And after that who knows? Europe? Vienna? Paris? New York? All I know is that I will be doing what I love to do, and how many people can say that about their careers?
