Use your imagination to make a great tasting ice cream cake. We like mint chocolate chip with butterscotch filling and chocolate topping, but please don't go by us....we could be weird!!!
- 1 chocolate graham wafer pie crust
- mint chocolate chip ice cream (I usually buy 1/2 gallon and just fill up the crust)
- Cover bottom of pie crust with ice cream, add your favorite topping (buttescotch, chocolate, strawberry, etc) cover with more ice cream and end with your favorite topping. Freeze until ready to serve.
I will always have at least one of these pies in my freezer for whenever I need to come up with a quick dessert! It is so easy to make. I made it as you stated using the chocolate topping. But this is such a versatile dish that you can mix and match different pie crusts,ice cream and toppings. A great summer dessert that is sure to please everyone. Thanks Boca Pat for sharing.
