Easy Eggnog

"I drink this stuff by the gallon full. It's best if you leave it stand overnight to let the flavours really mix. I use 2% milk in mine, just to keep the calories down so I don't feel so bad about drinking so much. And I just leave a plastic spoon in the container and give it a quick stir before I pour. I've had so many people ask me for the recipe now, even people who don't like eggnog like this, that I figured I'd post the recipe. It's also great in coffee, or as french toast. Mmmmmm"

  1. I scaled this recipe to 1 serving and actually ended up leaving the mixture overnight before trying it. It is delicious! I do like my eggnog thicker so I will use a heavier cream next time and I left out the rum but added in grated nutmeg. I will be making this often. Thanks for sharing.

  2. This is great stuff! I have made it over and over already. It's totally easy and tastes delicious - what a good breakfast option huh?! Well maybe without the rum... grin... but next time I swing by the grocery store I'm going to pick up some rum extract and maybe get the flavor without the alcohol content?
