Found this in an old hospital cookbook from the 40's. I have never tried this recipe and is it fun to read!

I needed something fast, easy and portable to make ahead of time for the family easter get together. I made these up a few days ago and they are SOOOO good I hope they don't get gobbled up before easter. They seem to freeze and store well. This made tons of eggs. For a family size recipe I would only use 1/4 of the recipe

These are absolutely divine! I quartered the recipe, because I didn't need that many eggs, and it still make about 25-30. I used chocolate confectionery coating to dip, so there was really no need for the paraffin wax. I think this may be the start of a new Easter tradition!
