Swap your store-bought tortilla or wrap for this tasty flatbread. You can fill this savory homemade option with just about anything from scrambled eggs to hummus and enjoy.
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 1⁄4 cups water
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
- Mix all ingredients to form a smooth batter and set aside to rest for about 30 minutes.
- On a medium-high temperature, pour 1/4 -1/3 cup of the batter onto an oiled pan. Cook both sides evenly, flipping them with caution. Repeat the same procedure for the rest of the batter, adding oil to the pan when necessary. Serve with desired filling, or eat plain.
