I made these to take to a friend's home for dinner. I had to make a second batch for us the next day! They really are excellent. The only thing that gave me trouble is I didn't wait long enough for them to cool before cutting and they didn't cut neatly. Important to let them cool thoroughly before cutting. Great recipe!

I made these for a potluck at work and they were definatley a hit. A more cakelike brownie as already mentioned, but soft and moist. Not overly sweet, which scored points with me, as I don't care for syrupy sweet goodies. Easy to follow directions, and ingredients I would redily have on hand, that's always a winner with me. I doubled this, grabbed one brownie for me, and they were all gone...so I think that means they were a hit.
