This is one of my husbands favorite meals and I served these beans with Recipe #51550. Today was his birthday and he was a very happy camper!! :) I let these beans and ham cook in a slow cooker for 3 hours. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This is a nice substitute for when you want beans but don't have the time to make them yourself. I just used 3-15 oz cans of great northern beans. Thanks Danny Beason Bullwinkle

Because it's so simple, I'm giving it 5 stars (I have a newborn, and can't be in the kitchen long!). And the flavor was good enough for dh to approve, and 5 yr old ds to gobble up. I used "Miracle Blend", a spice combination that added the perfect touch. I served this with salad and white bread. Simple, hearty, Yum!
