A sweet, hot party wine concoction to warm you up inside. Recipe may be halved or doubled.

Directions

  1. Mix wine with water and heat over low flame until hot and steaming but not boiling.
  2. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL.
  3. Remove from heat, and add maple syrup, stirring until syrup is dissolved.
  4. Pour into mugs.
  5. Top with pats of butter.
  6. Supply cinnamon sticks to be used as servers.

This was SO good! I made it with a fruity Shiraz and sipped on one before dinner and then a couple more after dinner. I loved the warm buttery flavor! This is a great recipe for guests on a winter night! I will make this one again! Thanks eebrag!
