Wow, who knew all it took was to saute the slices in oil before broiling was what it took to make your cheesy bread have that rich luscious flavor. Sound silly, but makes a world of difference. Next time I'll add a dash of garlic salt too. So fantastic I forgot to photograph it (took a bite of the too-hot test piece and promptly ate the rest of my share amid DH and DS's arms grabbing their share). Thanks Choccie!!
