This was very good but Oh! so rich. Although I really enjoyed it I wouldn't make it again just because of the scary fat content. Apart from that it made a good side dish to roast gammon and went well on a jacket potato for me!

  1. Cut cabbage into wedges.
  2. Cook in light-salted water for 20 minutes.
  3. Drain and cool.
  4. Fine chop or shred cabbage wedges.
  5. Heat saucepan.
  6. Put cabbage and heavycream and butter in the pan, bring to simmer until thickened.
  7. Season to taste.
