Copycat Little Caesars Breadsticks

"My husband loves the breadsticks from Little Caesar's and they do not have a restaurant near us anymore. So, I experimented and came up with this recipe. All I have to say is that he is the pickiest person in the world to please and he spared only three for my kids and I! My suggestion is that you use the pre-grated Parmesan cheese, they taste more authentic that way."

directions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Open box of breadsticks; discard garlic sauce.
  • Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
  • Unroll breadsticks across pre-made perforation so that you have 2 even sets of 5 breadsticks.
  • Place both sets of breadsticks flat on cookie sheet and bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the top turns a light golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Add the garlic powder and stir until dissolved.
  • You might want a little more or a little less garlic, depending on your tastes.
  • Remove breadsticks from oven.
  • With a spoon, coat the breadsticks with the garlic-butter mixture.
  • Use as much, or as little, as you like for your preference.
  • I used the entire mixture.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the breadsticks as desired.

  1. The actual way we do this at work is get a ball of pizza dough and cut it into breadsticks. Then once they're cooked glob on the garlic butter sauce. This is good too. Just wanted to tell ya how we did it too just so you could use both methods and see which one you liked better.

UPDATE: Due to Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Ivan, the Terrible Three, I have lost my home and most of our belongings. Most of my area has been destoyed and many people have lost even more than I. While I count my blessings I brought our photo albums, important papers, and valuables, I realize I also have what is most important to me, even if I hadn't saved some of our memorabilia. I hope all of you who read this take the time to think of all you hold dear and remember to cherish them always. I would also like to take this chance to thank every member of FEMA who are away from their own families and who travel all over the country to help those like me in our time of need, the people of the Red Cross and Salvation Armies, and those volunteers and anonymous donors who helped out. Warm wishes and heartfelt blessings to all. Blessed be. I'm a stay-at-home mom of two adorable children. My DD is 2 years old and my DS is 11 months. My DH and I love spicy food since he is Cuban and I am Italian. We live on the Southwest coast of Florida, a stone's throw from the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. I love horseback riding, reading, writing, painting, and gardening. We have our lawn care business. Its alot of work right now but it feels nice to be on our own! And I couldn't be luckier and happier to stay home and care for my children instead of having to put them in daycare.
