A macaroon type cookie with cherries added.
- 2 cups moist shredded coconut
- 1⁄2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 10 maraschino cherries, diced
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- maraschino cherry, for garnish
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
- Add a whole cherry to each cookie.
- Bake in a 325 oven for 10 minutes.
