Another one from Rick Stein's Fresh Foods Cook time is freezing time.
- 1 orange, chopped into chunks, still with the skin
- 1 lemon, chopped into chunks, still with the skin
- 1 lime, chopped into chunks, still with the skin
- Place fruit on a tray and put into the freezer for at least 4-5 hours. Use them in place of ice cubes to chill drinks.
What a clever idea! I made about 6 cubes of each flavor however at this posting I have only tried the orange. I think also that one should add 1 teaspoon worth of orange, lemon & lime juice to to the cubes as well. Made for Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup tag.
