Chicken Potato Bake

  • 3 lbs broiler chickens, cut up
  • 1 lb red potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 34 cup prepared Italian salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 34 cup parmesan cheese, grated

directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400*F
  • Place chicken in a large, greased baking dish.
  • Arrange the potatoes around the chicken.
  • Drizzle with dressing and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and cheese.
  • Cover and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 20-30 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender and chicken juices run clear.

  1. I placed all the ingredients into my crock pot then cooked on low for 5 hours. The chicken was tender & juicy but I didn't really care for the potatoes. Made for Newest Zaar Tag
     
  2. This is such a great recipe b/c of it's simplicity and the seasoning's. I used recipe#384154 in place of the bottled italian dressing. I also used 5 chicken breasts and for the potatoes used the golden Idaho variety. A great go=to recipe for busy work nights. :-) A definite repeat in this house.~
