Chicken Breast Supreme

"My mom used to make this all the time, she made it with dried beef, I didn't care for the dried beef so I substituted bacon. It has a wonderful flavor."

  1. This was very easy to prepare, my 13 year old made this for supper. Served it with the noodles. Next time, I will add a little cooking sherry, and possibly a can of mushrooms. Overall, a very nice taste, and a quick and easy supper!! thanks!

  2. This was just okay for me... I've tried a similar recipe, and actually preferred the dried beef. I think I'll do that next time.

  3. I used to make this years ago and forgot all about it. Although I never used the bacon before I liked the flavor that it added. I also added a 1/4 cup of sherry. The drinking kind, not the cooking kind. That really livens it up! Thanks for posting!!

  4. This was SO GOOD! Only change I made was add garlic salt.

  5. I liked it, but i will spice it up a bit next time. Maybe add garlic to the sauce and marinate the chicken before cooking.

Tweaks

  1. Yum. Our family really enjoyed this. It was easy to put together and had good flavor. I substituted cream of celery soup for the mushroom soup. I used 6 chicken breasts and there was alot of sauce left over. Thank-you for a recipe that I will use again.
