We grew up calling this "Ranch Dip" but people too often confuse it with Hidden Valley Ranch - think open range.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) packagedry chili seasoning mix
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef & drain.
  2. Add dry ingredients.
  3. Add soup.
  4. Cube cheese & add.
  5. Heat until cheese melts, stirring often.
  6. Serve warm.
  7. Can add water if dip becomes too thick.
