Carole's Ham and Cheese Fondue Casserole

• Yields: 1 casserole
• Serves: 6-8

ingredients

• 709.77 ml cubed French bread
• 709.77 ml cubed cooked ham
• 226.79 g cheddar cheese, cut in 1 inch cubes
• 44.37 ml flour
• 14.79 ml dry mustard
• 44.37 ml melted butter
• 4 eggs
• 709.77 ml milk
• salt (if using mild ham)
• pepper
• red pepper

directions

1. Mix bread, ham and cheese in a large mixing bowl with lid, or big ziplock.
2. Mix flour and mustard. Sprinkle in the ham mixture and toss.
3. Pour into a greased 9x13 dish.
4. Pour butter on the mixture and toss.
5. Beat eggs with milk and seasonings.
6. Pour over dry ingredients.
7. Cover and chill at least 4 hours (Overnight is better).
8. Bake uncovered at 350 º for 1 hour until puffed and golden. Serve at once.
