This refreshing smoothie is great for the upcomming spring and summer. It is not only easy to make with a blender, but also healthy and nutritious. Try it!
- 1 apple, refrigerated, then peeled and roughly chopped
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 1⁄2 cup milk or 1⁄2 cup soymilk
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass and enjoy with a dollop of whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream, or just as is.
Was gonna make this as written, but at the last minute I included a bit of ground cinnamon, which I thought was fine! I made a triple batch which was about right for 2 tall glasses, & it made for a nice combo of fruit & dairy! Yet another great smoothie to add to my collection of non-alcoholic drinks!
