Directions

  1. Heat oil and lightly fry all but a pinch of ground cardamom.
  2. Add chicken and salt, stir until meat is sealed on all sides.
  3. Stir in spices and tomato paste and mix well.
  4. Pour in yogurt and 2/3 cup water.
  5. Bring to boil, reduce to low heat and cook until chicken is tender.
  6. Serve hot with rice, sprinkled with reserved cardamom.
