  • In a mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients; beat in milk until smooth. Stir in pears and pecans. Spoon into an ungreased 2 quart baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and water; pour over batter.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 45-50 minutes.
  • Serve warm with ice cream.

  2. Delcious! My family inhaled the entire dish for dessert, no ice cream required. Used Bartlett pears that were very ripe, almost mushy, but still worked well. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
     
  3. This is gorgeous!!!!Actually I should say this WAS gorgeous as it was demolished in the matter of minutes. There was even a row about who should get the last helping!!!I also highly recommend serving it with the ice cream as it was a really good match. Thanks a lot for the recipe!
