I tweaked this recipe slightly & found it in the 2003 cookbook, Slim Smoothies.
- 1 cup pineapple juice, unsweetened
- 1 cup cantaloupe, diced
- 1 cup peach, preferrably frozen
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- Place ingredients in a blender & mix by using the on/off pulse function until mostly blended, then gradually increase the speed & continue mixing until totally smooth.
- Pour into 2 glasses & enjoy!
This tastes like a little ray of sunshine in a cup. LOVE IT!
We made 3 kinds of smoothies tonight and this was my favorite. I made mine with frozen pineapple and canned peaches. The pineapple is really the dominant flavor and I love that it doesn't need any sugar. Yum, its a keeper.
