This is kind of my own personal made up recipe. I don't like marshmallows or nuts in my candied yams.
- Drain two cans of yams and put in a large casserole dish.
- Crumble brown sugar over the top and then sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Slice butter thinly and place on top.
- Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes until bubbly.
Simple, easy and delicious!!!
Sounds like my recipe -- simple, but good. I sometimes drizzle maple syrup over mine before cooking, as well.
