  • Place all ingredients into a saucepan.
  • Bring to boil for 2 minutes.
  • Reduce to simmer.
  • When mixture thickens, add more water.
  • This is usually good for an entire weekend; after that discard and start over.

  4. I use this most of the year. Great with a little star anise and/or some cardamom pods added. The house smells wonderful when this is simmering. I find it can be kept for a week or more especially if you refrigerate between uses.
     
  5. This is one of my favourite scents around the house. I liked the idea of adding rum to this! Thank you for a good one!
