I don't know where this got it's name! Haven't made it yet, but it sounds yummy. I bet you could sub. 1 T. of creme de menthe for the mint syrup.

Wasn't sure about the combination of coffe, banana, mint and cinnamon. The frozen banana gave it an ice cream consistancy. I used peppermint schnaaps and I also thought the mint was a bit too prominant. Next time I think I would make without the mint and use a different flavoring like almond or vanilla. Mint and coffee just didn't do it for me, but the basic recipe is good.

I didnt' make this yet, but plan to. I just wanted to share, after reading a review, that mint extract is quite concentrated. If you need to use an extract instead of the syrup, you would want to use just a couple of drops. You can always add more if you like, but as I learned the first time I used mint extract in my mocha, you cannot take it away!

This was good but it had a really strong mint taste. I had to sub mint extract for the mint syrup so maybe that made a difference. I will make this again if I find mint syrup and update my review.
