- 1133.98 g chicken wings
- 118.29 ml cayenne pepper sauce (your favorite brand)
- 78.78 ml melted butter
- 14.79 ml chili powder (Tex-Mex variation)
- 1.23 ml garlic powder (Tex-Mex variation)
- 29.58 ml honey (Asian variation)
- 29.58 ml teriyaki sauce (Asian variation)
- 9.85 ml ground ginger (Asian variation)
- 14.79 ml sesame seeds, to sprinkle on coated wings (Asian variation)
- 59.14 ml orange juice concentrate (Sweet n' Spicy variation)
- 3.69 ml cinnamon (Sweet n' Spicy variation)
directions
- Deep fry wings in hot oil (400 degrees) for 12 mins until fully cooked and crispy; drain.
- Combine hot sauce and butter.
- Dip wings in sauce to coat.
- Serve wings with celery and blue cheese dressing if desired.
- NOTE: For equally crispy wings, bake 1 hour at 425 degrees, or grill 30 mins over medium heat.
- VARIATIONS: Add one of the above variations to hot sauce mixture; heat through.

<p>I was born and raised in Connecticut. I love the New England area, I think it is so pretty with the change of the seasons. <br /><br />I work for an ambulance company in their wheelchair division for non-emergency transportation. I work in the billing and customer service office. I love my job, the duties are so varied that you are always working on something different....no time for boredom. <br /><br />I am a mother to four, two sons and two daughters. <br />All have left the roost to start there own family. At last count, I was a granny to 6 boys and 2 little girls. <br /><br />I love Recipezaar and all the new daily postings. I see so much I want to try and continue to save them. I just don't have all the time to make all these recipes. I lost my husband in July 2006 and I am not the spring chicken anymore...pretty tired when I get home from work...so it's all quick, quick, quick, for me. <br /><br />I have tried a few....and have been pleased with my results and the new taste sensations. I am trying to initiate a goal of trying at least two new recipes a week.
