Brilliant Casserole Topping

  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) bag plain potato chips
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crispy fried onions

directions

  • Crush chips and fried onions together in a gallon sized ziploc bag until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle liberally over casseroles, tailoring spices to complement your meal. For example, when I make a chicken casserole, I use a little sage and rosemary. For broccoli casserole, a litte parsley and garlic powder. For wild rice casseroles, add sunflower seeds and parmesan.
  • Do not add salt to this mix.
  • Freeze to have handy. No need to add butter.
